Privacy & Cookie Policy
Last updated: 16 June 2026
This policy explains what personal data Gökçe Avukatlık Ortaklığı processes through this website, why, and the rights you have under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK No. 6698) and, where applicable, the EU GDPR.
- Who we are
- The data controller is Gökçe Avukatlık Ortaklığı, Sülün Sokak No: 17, Levent, İstanbul 34330, Türkiye. For any privacy question or request, contact info@gokce.av.tr.
- What we collect
- Contact form: when you use our intake form we process the name, email, company, phone (optional) and message you provide. Analytics: with your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, approximate location, device type). We do not run advertising or marketing trackers.
- Why we process it and our legal basis
- We use your contact details solely to respond to and handle your inquiry — necessary for taking steps at your request and our legitimate interest in serving prospective clients (KVKK Art. 5). Analytics is processed only on the basis of your explicit consent (KVKK Art. 5/1; GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), which you give through the cookie banner and can withdraw at any time.
- Cookies
- No analytics cookies are placed until you accept the banner. If you accept, Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (_ga and _ga_*) to distinguish visitors; they expire within two years. Until you accept, Google Consent Mode keeps analytics storage disabled and only anonymous, cookieless signals are sent. You can change or withdraw your choice anytime via “Cookie settings” in the footer, or by clearing this site’s data in your browser.
- International transfers
- Where you consent to analytics, Google LLC processes the data and may transfer it to servers outside Türkiye, including the United States. We rely on your explicit consent for this transfer; Google applies its own safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) as a processor.
- Retention
- Inquiry details are kept only as long as needed to handle your request and meet legal obligations, then deleted or anonymised. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics settings (up to 14 months) and may be deleted earlier on request.
- Your rights
- Under KVKK Art. 11 (and the GDPR where it applies) you may learn whether we process your data, request access, rectification or erasure, object to processing, and withdraw analytics consent. To exercise any right, email info@gokce.av.tr; we respond within the statutory period.
- Changes
- We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version.
